JOB DESCRIPTION

Miljösamverkan östra Skaraborg is now looking for an environmental inspector. The position is a temporary contract for approximately 12 months.

As an environmental inspector, you will be part of a team that works with supervision, assessment, and information within the area of the Environmental Code. You will work with the supervision of agricultural activities, but other tasks within our area of work may also be relevant.

With us, you will have a varied and enjoyable job where you mix both administrative authority work, fieldwork, and customer contact.

You will plan your own inspections, conduct inspections, write reports, decisions, and permits, and follow up to ensure that deviations are addressed. An exciting development project to digitize the processing within our organization is underway.

The supervision is conducted in project form based on focus areas. The self-organizing teams are given great freedom to plan, follow up, and improve their work. Our working method is successful and provides good conditions for high engagement and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university education, such as environmental and health protection inspector, agronomist, agricultural engineer, environmental science, and/or work experience that we assess as equivalent and suitable.

Experience in authority work through supervision/control in the field and good knowledge of applicable environmental legislation is advantageous.

Good computer skills are a prerequisite, as well as the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

Work experience in the agricultural sector that has provided competence in plant nutrition and plant protection products is advantageous.

You are a team player who finds it easy to collaborate and contribute to the team's development. You are proactive, results-oriented, and have a good overall perspective.

You are stable and secure in yourself and can distinguish between the personal and your professional role. You feel comfortable making difficult/uncomfortable decisions at times.

Since the role requires many contacts, we place great value on your communication skills, and a good approach is a given.

A B driver's license for a car with a manual transmission is a requirement.
